Casting Submission Guidelines

Age Requirements: Please ensure you meet the age range specified for the role you are submitting for.
Availability: Make sure you are available for the entire duration of the shooting schedule and any rehearsals as required by the role.
Location: We welcome submissions from all locations, but please note if you are not local, you must be willing to travel to the shooting location at your own expense unless otherwise noted in the role description.

Headshot: Provide a recent, high-quality headshot. Professional photos are preferred, but clear, well-lit selfies will be considered.
Resume: Include an up-to-date acting resume highlighting your experience in film, television, theater, or other relevant work.
Demo Reel: If available, submit a link to a demo reel showcasing your range and previous work. If you don’t have a demo reel, a self-taped monologue is acceptable.
Self-Tape Audition: If a self-tape audition is requested, please follow the specific instructions provided for the character. Ensure the video is well-lit, with clear audio, and the framing is from the chest up.

Email Submission: Send all required materials to mechprofilms@gmail.comwith the subject line: “Casting Submission – [Character Name] – [Your Name].”
Multiple Roles: If you are submitting for more than one role, please indicate that in your subject line “Casting Submission – Multiple Roles – [Your Name].” Then in the body of the email, include which roles you are auditioning for.
File Formats: Attach files in the following formats:
- Headshots: JPEG or PNG
- Resume: PDF
- Demo Reel: Link to Vimeo, YouTube, or a similar platform
Submission Deadline: All submissions must be received by the date posted on the casting call. Late submissions may not be considered.

Union Status: Please indicate your union status in your submission email.
Confirmation: Due to the high volume of submissions, we may not be able to respond to every applicant. If selected for an audition, you will be contacted within 7 to 10 business day after your submission date.

Shortlisted Candidates: If shortlisted, you will receive an email with instructions for a video chat or an in-person audition.
Preparation: Review the character breakdown and any provided sides thoroughly. Be prepared to showcase your interpretation of the character.
Callback Dates: If selected for a callback, be available on the specified dates provided in the callback notice

All auditions and shoots will adhere to the latest health and safety protocols. Please be prepared to follow any guidelines, including wearing masks, social distancing, and providing proof of vaccination or a negative test if required.
